BOTOX® injections administer small amounts of botulinum toxin to targeted areas, and cosmetic BOTOX® treatments may be safer than therapeutic ones since they use lower concentrations of the drug. During the first fourteen years after BOTOX® was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, only 36 cases of adverse effects were reported, and most of them were related to the patient having underlying health conditions rather than the treatment itself.

Is BOTOX® Permanent?
